Using student medical insurance
CMU offers students the opportunity to purchase medical, dental, and vision coverage through Aetna. All full-time Silicon Valley students will be required to carry insurance either through the university or a comparable plan (via family, spouse, or employer). Each student’s insurance plan will indicate what doctors and facilities they will be able to access.
