This Lunch & Learn is designed for MS & PhD international students at the Silicon Valley campus in the following programs: ECE/SE, INI, and iii. Job and internship seekers who are graduating in December 2018, May 2019, and August 2019 are welcome to attend. RSVP on Handshake.

As an international student you may be wondering how to properly convey your international experience to prospective employers. Your global and international perspective is immensely valuable and brings diversity to the workplace and in this competitive Silicon Valley job market it is imperative to show employers your competitive advantage and the value you would bring to their company. As a participant of this Lunch & Learn you ­will leave with a better understanding of your competitive advantage and how to effectively pitch your value proposition to employers. Additionally, you will understand your areas of growth and how to leverage your global experience.

What is a Lunch & Learn? It is a casual monthly lunch discussion on a timely topic to support the professional development of students at CMU-SV. Each month the Career & Professional Development team will facilitate a conversation on a relevant topic that is timely for students at CMU-SV.
