This weekly Job Search Meetup is designed for MS students at the Silicon Valley campus in the following programs: ECE/SE, INI, and iii. Job seekers who are graduating in December 2018, May 2019, and August 2019 are welcome to attend. RSVP each week that you are able to attend on Handshake.

What is the Job Search Meetup? It is a casual in-person gathering of current students who are job searching with facilitated discussion by Career Consultant, Leigh Mason. Some weeks will have pre-selected topics based on the group's feedback, while other weeks will be organic and driven by what the group wants or needs to discuss at that time. Come ready for discussion and to bring any questions to the group related to your job search.

By the end of each Job Search Meetup, you will be able to:

  • Strategize with other job seeking CMU-SV students to stay on track in your job search
  • Meet weekly with a career consultant to have your questions answered, seek peer advice, and progress in your job search goals
  • Plan & prepare to execute
